Magnesium alloy rolling plates and sheets
Magnesium alloy plate or sheet is usually rolled from slabs by the twin-roll mill. The plates are mainly used in printing suck as etching plate and military industry, the sheets are mainly used for stamping components for electronic products.
Mechanical properties:
It depends on the alloy and final shape, for example as alloy AZ31B:
• Tension strength at about 275 mpa.
• Yiled strength at about 180mpa.
• Elongation at about 12%.
